The violations recorded during the voting in the local elections in Ukraine will not affect the outcome of the vote, the Committee of Voters of Ukraine (CVU) has said.
"We cannot say that many of the violations were serious. They cannot affect the election returns," Deputy Chairman of the Committee Vitaliy Teslenko said at a briefing in Kyiv.
Teslenko said the attempts to make the same people vote at different polling were prevented.
"Queues were the main problem at these elections," he said.
Most of the polling stations closed on time, but some closed some 15-30 minutes late, the official said.
According to Teslenko, the voter turnout is likely to be less than 50%.
