Observers of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (IPA) of the CIS countries have not registered any major irregularities during the vote at the elections to local government in Ukraine.
"We haven't noticed the violations of those rules by which elections were held," an observer of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly, Boris Tretyak, said at a press conference in Kyiv on Sunday.
The observers made no serious critical remarks, he said.
In turn, another observer Andrei Koval said that around six or seven people from Russia's Federation Council were acting as observers to Ukraine's elections. "They visited polling stations in Crimea, Donetsk, Kharkiv and Kyiv region," he said.
