The Party of Regions recognizes the right of oppositional forces to challenge the Ukrainian local election returns at European courts.
Ukrainian Prime Minister and one of the leaders of the Party of Regions Mykola Azarov said this at a press conference at the party's central campaign headquarters in Kyiv on Sunday.
"They (the opposition) may believe whatever they want… Let them go to courts or anywhere, it is their right. Perhaps, if it is convenient for them to apply to European courts, they need to follow the normal procedure in compliance with the electoral law of our state. But if they choose to violate the procedure, to apply to European courts, let them do it. No one is going to interfere," Azarov said.
