The average wage in Ukraine could reach UAH 2,700 by the end of 2010, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov has said.
"We have a rise in public income … [and] we have already achieved the level of UAH 2,400 in the country, or UAH 400 more compared to the previous year, and we will reach an average wage of UAH 2,700 by the end of the year," Azarov said on Thursday evening on the First National TV channel.
At the same time the premier noted that the real public income would increase by the end of the year even despite the growth in prices in September.
