ESTA Group loses control over Donbass Palace and Park Inn hotels

The management of the Donbass Palace and Park Inn hotels in Donetsk have been removed from management by representatives of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, ESTA Group said in a statement.

"During the three years of the military conflict in certain regions of Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine the group's hotels, located in Donetsk, continued to operate exclusively in the Ukrainian legal field, providing stable work and wages to more than 200 people. All this time the hotels have been the residence and the headquarters of international humanitarian organizations, such as the OSCE, the United Nations, UNICEF, etc. From now on we do not control them," ESTA Holding CEO Maksym Hromadtsov said.

According to the company, the buildings of the hotels and all the equipment are also captured by the armed representatives of the self-proclaimed republics.

"We will fight for the return of control over them by all available legal methods," the expert said.

ESTA Holding is the managing company of ESTA Group, one of the largest real estate holdings in Ukraine, uniting the assets of SCM in the real estate sector.
