Regions Party MPs have tabled in the Verkhovna Rada a draft resolution on a motion of no-confidence in the Cabinet of Ministers.
The authors of the document are Regions Party MPs Oleksandr Yefremov and Olena Lukash, and Parliament First Deputy Speaker Oleksandr Lavrynovych (also of the Regions Party).
The resolution - No. 6098 of February 24, 2010 - was registered in parliament on Wednesday.
"After considering the issue of no-confidence in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine due to the social and economic situation in Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada rules to adopt a resolution of no-confidence in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, in line with part 1, Article 87 of the Constitution of Ukraine," reads the draft resolution.
On February 19, Yefremov has already registered in parliament a bill on a vote of no-confidence in the government.
On February 23, Ukrainian First Vice Premier Oleksandr Turchynov said that the Regions Party had withdrawn its bill on a vote of no-confidence in the government.
