Rada to consider passing motion of no confidence in government on Wednesday, says PM

The Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, on Wednesday may consider passing a motion of no confidence in the Cabinet of Ministers.

Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko announced this while opening the government's meeting.

The Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko faction has collected 150 signatures of MPs to ensure that the parliament considers on Wednesday a vote of no confidence in the government, she said.

According to Tymoshenko, the country should finally clarify this issue.

She said that a bill proposing the government's dismissal was submitted by the Party of Regions on February 19.

The official Web site of the Verkhovna Rada has no information about such a meeting.
