Presidential Secretariat Head Vira Ulyanchenko has submitted a letter of resignation, presidential spokeswoman Iryna Vannykova told Interfax-Ukraine on Tuesday.
She confirmed that Head of the State Department of Affairs Ihor Tarasiuk, and Presidential Secretariat Deputy Heads Oleksandr Shlapak, Ihor Popov, Valentyna Rudenko, and Ivan Perekhoda had also resigned from their posts.
Vannykova said that National Security and Defense Council Deputy Secretary Volodymyr Ohryzko and Head of the Institute for Strategic Studies Yuriy Ruban had also resigned.
Ulyanchenko was appointed as head of the Presidential Secretariat on May 19, 2009.
