Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has accused the team of newly elected president Viktor Yanukovych of trying to privatize the gas transportation system of Ukraine.
Tymoshenko made these accusations during her address to the nation, which was broadcast on Monday evening.
"A few weeks after the elections, Yanukovych's team started giving up Ukraine's national interests... Yanukovych's team has already begun to privatize our gas transportation system. By the way, they have lodged a lawsuit against Ukraine with the Stockholm court, seeking to seize Ukraine's strategic natural gas reserves," she said.
Tymoshenko claimed she had a copy of this appeal, calling it a scandalous matter when the team of a new president sues the state of Ukraine.
