Sushiya LLC (Kyiv), developing an eponymous chain of Japanese restaurants in Ukraine, plans in 2016 to open three or four new restaurants of the chain in Ukraine, network CEO Roman Romanchuk has told Interfax-Ukraine.
"As for the number of restaurants, I can say that next year we plan to open three or four restaurants," he said at a press conference in Kyiv.
However, he did not specify the cities in which the company plans to open new restaurants, as leasing agreements have not been signed.
At the same time, Romanchuk noted that the company is considering the cities with the population exceeding 250,000 people, while the average area of a restaurant will be 270-290 square meters.
Asked about the amount of investment in the opening of new restaurants in 2016, Romanchuk confirmed that the company spends an average of about $400,000 on opening one restaurant.
Sushiya LLC was created in 2007. Its core business is the operation of restaurants and catering services.
