Kernes wins elections for Kharkiv mayor with over 65% of vote
The Kharkiv City Election Commission at a meeting on October 30 officially announced candidate from the Vidrodzhennia (Revival) Party Hennadiy Kernes the winner of mayoral elections in Kharkiv.
The corresponding decree was adopted unanimously.
Some 318,556 people (65.8%) voted for Kernes.
Samopomich candidate Taras Sytenko ranked second with 59,637 votes (12.31%), self-nominated candidate Yuriy Sapronov ranked third with 24,575 votes (5.08%).
