Trilateral gas meeting starts in Brussels, sides hope to reach agreement

The trilateral negotiations between Russia, Ukraine, and the European Commission on conditions of deliveries of Russian gas to Ukraine in the coming heating season have started, an Interfax correspondent reported from the European Commission office.

Before the start of the negotiations the Russian and Ukrainian energy ministers, Alexander Novak and Volodymyr Demchyshyn said that they hoped the an agreement will be reached on Friday.
