Ukraine to open NATO office

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg have signed an agreement on opening a NATO office in Ukraine.

The document was signed after a National Security and Defense Council meeting on Tuesday.

During the ceremony, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that the status of NATO authority in Ukraine has significantly increased.

"This is a public, a very bright demonstration of those attention and change of attitude of NATO to Ukraine," he said.
