Non-aligned policy of former Ukrainian authorities was criminal - Poroshenko

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said that the non-aligned policy of the former Ukrainian authorities was a crime against the state interests of Ukraine.

"The decision on the non-aligned policy made by the previous government is simply criminal towards the security, strategic interests of our state, when the Ukrainian Armed Forces were destroyed, when the whole defense and security sectors of our state were surrendered to the occupants," Poroshenko said at a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine in Kyiv on Tuesday.
