The Donbas militants shelled Ukrainian army positions 40 times on Tuesday evening, the army operation press center wrote on Facebook.
The areas near Novohryhorivka and Pisky were shelled by 120mm mortars in the Mariupol sector.
The press sector also reported attacks on army positions by use of small arms and 82mm mortars near the populated localities of Schastia, Troitske, Avdiyivka, Novhorodske, Maryinka, Luhanske, Lozove, Kirove, Svitlodarsk and Mayorsk.
