The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has given the Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) materials on the involvement of Advisor to Russian President Vladislav Surkov and his assistant in the terrorist actions in Ukraine.
"All the materials of the investigation established and found by the SBU when executing the order of the PGO, are sent to the PGO. We also sent materials and evidence that, according to the SBU is enough to suspect Russian citizen you mentioned [Surkov] and his first assistant Inal Ardzinba in committing crimes connected to terrorism on the territory of our state, [crimes connected] to calls to overthrow the constitutional order and latest high-profile crimes, including contract killings in Odesa," SBU Chief Valentyn Nalyvaichenko said during his visit to SBU Academy in Kyiv.
"I'd like to note the complete cooperation and the intention that this will be the materials that will get to court. When they get to court, [we] can and must talk of giving them to international experts," he said when commenting on the statement by an international organization that there was no foreign presence in the Maidan events and that the SBU failed to present materials proving it.
