A delegation of U.S. congressmen will come to Ukraine to attend celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the victory over Nazism in the World War II, U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt has said.
In an interview with Radio Svoboda, he said that he would represent American President Barack Obama at the events in Kyiv. In addition, a large delegation of U.S. Congress members will visit Ukraine on Thursday and Friday.
As reported, a number of events have been scheduled in Ukraine to mark the Time of Remembrance and Reconciliation, and the 70th anniversary of the victory over Nazism in the World War II.
