A meeting of the Council of the EU with the participation of heads of EU members and representatives of the governments is to be held on March 19, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said.
"Now an extremely important task lies on our shoulders – to ensure as broad international dialog as possible to prepare the meeting," he said in an interview with the 1+1 TV channel.
Poroshenko said that the world could trust Ukraine as the country fulfills all the undertaken agreements.
The head of state said that on Monday he will visit Berlin and on Tuesday the Romanian president will visit Kyiv.
"I have no doubts that the European Union, the United States, G7 and the whole world will continue supporting Ukraine. If the peace process in Minsk is observed under the schedule we'll provide for re-integration of occupied territories to Ukraine," Poroshenko said.
