The Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) on Thursday passed a number of decisions bolstering national defense capacities, NSDC's First Deputy Secretary Mykhailo Koval said at a press briefing.
"Taking into account the high probability that Russian terrorist groups may resume large-scale aggression amid ongoing provocations by militants, Ukraine's NSDC has introduced a number of measures to strengthen Ukraine's defense capacities," he said.
For instance, the potential of Ukraine's defense sector will be used more effectively, the construction of defensive lines will be accelerated, and the Armed Forces and other units will be supplied with new armaments and military hardware, Koval added.
