The leadership of Ukraine's Defense Ministry has denied information posted on some websites under the title "The Defense Ministry buys obsolete imported stuff," the authority press service has said.
"We assure that the Defense Ministry purchases all arms and military equipment with the strict observance of legislation and relevant procurement standards," reads a statement.
The authority believes that "the articles are not true" and called on politicians, journalists, while writing their materials, "to take interest in the official position of responsible officials".
