Vice President of the Football Federation of Ukraine (FFU), MP of the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko faction Andriy Pavelko has been appointed new president of the FFU.
According to an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent, 122 delegates of the 17th extraordinary congress of the FFU voted for his candidacy.
Eight people voted for president of FC Dnipro Ihor Kolomoisky, seven people – for Head of the Lviv Regional Football Federation Yaroslav Hrisio.
The election of the FFU president was conducted by secret ballot.
