IMF First Deputy Managing Director Lipton to visit Kyiv in a week - IMF

IMF First Deputy Managing Director David Lipton is expected to visit Kyiv in a week, Deputy Spokesman of the IMF Communications Department William Murray has said.

He said at a regularly scheduled at IMF headquarters in Washington on Thursday that Lipton was now in Istanbul and that he intended to visit Kyiv in a week.

Murray said that it was an unplanned visit, not related to the work of the IMF mission, which is now in Kyiv and resolves its tasks.
