Poroshenko to propose constitutional changes on decentralization to new parliament

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has promised to submit draft amendments to the Ukrainian Constitution on the issue of decentralization to the new Ukrainian parliament.

"My vision is very simple: I will propose the changes to the Constitution dealing with the decentralization issue to the new parliament," Poroshenko told reporters in Kyiv on Thursday.

Early elections will be held in Ukraine on October 26.
