The national delivery service In-Time (Zaporizhia) is delivering goods to the major cities in eastern Ukraine as normal.
The company told Interfax-Ukraine that slight delays are possible due to passing control at checkpoints at the entrance to big cities, where transit warehouses are located.
"Because of the complicated situation in some cities in eastern Ukraine, in particular in Mariupol, Krasny Liman, Mykolaivka, Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, and Druzhkivka, the work of warehouses in these cities is sometimes suspended, but we try to promptly inform our customers about this in every possible way. Cargo acceptance for sending from other regions of the country to these warehouses is carried out as normal," In-Time said.
The company also noted a rise in the price of some of its services in the eastern regions. In particular, return of cash on delivery rose to 6% of the appraised value.
In addition, the service of COD is limited: acceptance of cargo to/from warehouses for receiving and delivery of cargo of up to 30 kg in such cities such as Donetsk, Luhansk, Mariupol and Yenakiyeve. Such cargo is accepted and issued only at the central warehouses of these cities (No. 1).
