Acting chairman of the Batkivschyna faction Serhiy Sobolev has said that on Thursday, April 10, PACE will consider the issue of depriving Russia of its voting right in the Assembly.
"On Thursday, April 10, PACE will consider depriving the Russian delegation of a voting right, or even to withdraw its membership in this organization," the Web site of the Batkivschyna Party quoted Sobolev, who is deputy head of Ukraine's parliamentary delegation to PACE, as saying.
According to him, on Monday PACE virtually unanimously included in its agenda the issue of depriving Russia of its voting right, or even stripping the Russian delegation of its powers in connection with the aggression against the sovereign state of Ukraine.
