The U.S. partners' proposals on Ukraine settlement do not suit Russia, given that they mention a conflict allegedly existing between Moscow and Russia, and use the rhetoric of accomplished facts, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
"U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry handed a document to me on Friday. We informed you about it. The document contains an approach which does not quite suit us, as the entire wording suggests there is a conflict between Russia and Ukraine," Lavrov told President Vladimir Putin on Monday.
The approach is formulated "in the context of accomplished facts, and our partners proposed stemming from the situation created by the state coup," he said.
