Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and Russian Premier Vladimir Putin may meet in Poland on September 1, where they will come at the invitation of Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
The two premiers discussed a possibility of such a meeting during a telephone conversation on Wednesday, the Ukrainian government's press service reported.
"The parties also noted positive and efficient bilateral cooperation in implementing an agreement on Russian gas shipments to Ukraine and transit to Europe," the press service said.
