Issues of power change should be resolved at elections - Ukrainian premier

Any issues concerning a possible change of power in Ukraine should be resolved during elections, Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said.

"Our opinion is that all issues related to the authorities should be resolved exclusively during elections," Azarov said at the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe's Ministerial Council in Kyiv on Thursday.

"We have recognized the protests [that are currently taking place in Ukraine]. We are ready for dialogue, but this dialogue should be peaceful. And we made it clear to our opponents that there are democratic electoral procedures. Let us ask the people at elections what they think. It is up to the people to decide," he said.
