Yefremov: Party of Regions faction not to vote for Azarov's resignation

The leader of the Party of Regions faction in parliament, Oleksandr Yefremov, has said that the faction is not planning to vote for a draft resolution of no-confidence in the government led by Prime Minister Mykola Azarov.

"I have no information that someone from our faction will support the government's resignation," he told reporters on Tuesday before a plenary meeting of parliament.

Yefremov said that this issue was discussed at a faction meeting on Tuesday.

He noted that "those who attended the faction meeting spoke out against [this decision]."
