EU is not discussing imposition of sanctions on Ukrainian officials

The European Union is not discussing the possibility of imposing personal sanctions on Ukrainian officials over the recent events in Kyiv.

This follows from a commentary issued by spokesperson for EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission Catherine Ashton, Maja Kocijancic, at a briefing in Brussels on Monday.
