Crimean resort and travel offices will be opened in next two weeks in Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv, Minister of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea Oleksandr Liyev has said.
The press service of the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea reported that Liyev gave the information at a meeting of the Crimean government headed by deputy chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea Heorhiy Psarev.
The minister said that the office in Lviv would be opened on November 28. Fifty travel agents from Lviv will be trained there.
The office in Dnipropetrovsk will be opened on December 3, 2013 and in Kharkiv – on December 5. A press conference, training seminars, a concert with the participation of Crimean artists and a lottery for trips to Crimean resorts will be held.
The offices are created on the basis of local tourism companies and information centers that were selected at tenders. Their goal is the popularization of recreation in Crimea in the period of off-season, the realization of a program of doctor and travel agent training with the Crimean resort and travel product.
At present, Crimean offices are opened in Baku, Yekaterinburg, Kyiv, Minsk, Riga, St. Petersburg and Syktyvkar.
