Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has greeted Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko on the occasion of her birthday in a phone call, Press Secretary of the Russian Prime Minister Dmitri Peskov told journalists on Thursday.
"Putin said that Russia wants to further develop a cooperation with its Ukrainian partners in all spheres," he said.
"During the talk, Putin also mentioned the issue of Ukraine's debts for Russian gas. He noted the importance of early debt payment and the signing of a contract on the supply of Russian gas in 2009," Peskov said.
