Illia Shevliak has been appointed a deputy minister of the Cabinet of Ministers and the director of the coordination bureau for preparing for and hosting the finals of the Euro 2012 European Football Championship in Ukraine.
The government issued a respective order on November 19.
The cabinet introduced this post under another resolution of November 19.
Shevliak was dismissed from the post of first deputy family, youth and sports minister, since he has taken up another post.
As reported, on November 19, the government decided to liquidate within three days the national agency for preparing for and holding the Euro 2012 European Football Championship headed by Yevhen Chervonenko, and to replace it with a coordination bureau made up of members of the Cabinet of Ministers' secretariat on holding the championship.
