A meeting of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine has been transferred from May 29 to June 12 in connection with the illness of Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and the working trip of Defense Minister Yuriy Yekhanurov.
"In connection with Defense Minister Yuriy Yekhanurov's being on a working visit and his request for transferring the National Security and Defense Council meeting from May 29 to other date, and the illness of Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, the NSDC meeting will be held on June 12 2009," the NSDC press service reported on Friday.
