Bezsmertny leaves Presidential Secretariat to head Our Ukraine's executive committee

Roman Bezsmertny has announced that he has resigned from the post of the deputy head of the Presidential Secretariat, as the political council of the Our Ukraine party has appointed him acting head of its central executive committee, Our Ukraine party's press service reported.

"I have always thought that it is impossible to hold both political and administrative posts simultaneously," Bezsmertny said. He noted that he would focus on party's activities.

In 2007, Bezsmertny left the post of the head of the Our Ukraine's central executive body after being appointed to the Presidential Secretariat.

On May 27, Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko signed a decree dismissing Bezsmertny from the post of deputy head of the Presidential Secretariat.
