The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine has advised Ukrainians not to travel to Iraq because of the threat of terrorist attacks in Baghdad and other areas.
"In case of emergency Ukrainian citizens, who are staying in Iraq, should immediately contact the Ukrainian Embassy in Baghdad by phone + 964 790 416 71 52, or call the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's hotline: + 38 044 238 16 57," the ministry's information policy department reported.
As reported, at least 22 people were killed on Thursday as a result of four blasts in Baghdad outside the Justice Ministry, the Foreign Ministry, the Culture Ministry and the Communications Ministry.
At least five people were killed and more than a hundred wounded in a suicide car bomb attack targeting a police headquarters in a town at Iraq's northern province of Kirkuk on Monday.
