Dynamo Kyiv coach Semin close to return to Lokomotiv Moscow

The Russian coach of FC Dynamo Kyiv, Yuri Semin, could decide on leaving the club and returning to Lokomotiv Moscow after the team's match against Shakhtar Donetsk in Kyiv on Tuesday, a well-informed official at the club has told Interfax-Ukraine.

Semin is expected to announce this decision at a press conference after the last match of the season in the Ukrainian Premier League.

The official said that another Russian coach Valery Gazzaev could become the most probable candidate to the post of the club's coach if Semin leaves Dynamo.

Nevertheless, he neither confirmed nor denied reports that the club had signed a contract with Gazzaev.

Semin became the chief coach of FC Dynamo Kyiv in January 2008. He brought the team to the UEFA Cup semi-finals in 2009. In 2007, he worked as the president of FC Lokomotiv Moscow. In 1986-1990, he was the club's chief coach.

Gazzaev earlier headed CSKA Moscow.
