Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has given a number of instructions at a meeting of the working group to finalize the president's annual address to the Verkhovna Rada, which are aimed at outlining concrete tasks regarding the stimulation of economic development and the introduction of new social initiatives, reads a statement posted on the official Web site of the head of state on Wednesday.
After all remarks are taken into account, which will be done in the near future, the address will be presented at parliament.
"During the discussion of the draft document, the president proposed strengthening in the address the emphasis on ensuring Ukraine's proper responses to the current challenges in a difficult period of global uncertainty, preserving and promoting the acceleration of modernization reforms, and achieving their humanitarian direction," Head of Ukraine's Presidential Administration Serhiy Liovochkin said.
