Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko together with representatives of the gambling business will work out and submit to the parliament this week proposals for the law on the temporary ban on the gambling business.
Yuschenko told this to the representatives of the gambling industry rallying outside Ukraine House in Kyiv, which is currently hosting the "Power and Business are Partners" forum.
"I have four days to take a decision," Yuschenko said.
The president said the law passed by the Verkhovna Rada was populist. He noted that he could have vetoed the law, but this will not produce a result.
"If I veto [the law], parliament will override the veto next day," the head of state said.
The president proposed that the protesters to participate in working out proposals for the law.
