Hospitals in the Chelyabinsk region have started discharging people hospitalized after the Friday meteoroid fall, the regional Health Ministry told Interfax.
A total of 1,158 people, including 289 children, asked for medical aid following the event, and 52 of them, including 13 children, were originally hospitalized. Most of those hospitalized have been discharged and are receiving outpatient treatment now, it said.
"Twelve adults and three children are currently remaining in the hospital. Their condition is stable," a ministry spokesperson said.
