Leader of the Our Ukraine, the third president of Ukraine (2005-2010), Viktor Yuschenko, believes that his political force is fighting fit and united.
"The party today has confirmed that it is fighting fit. We are moving towards the congress, to the renewal of our charter," he told reporters after a meeting of the political council of the party on Saturday.
When asked whether one can consider the Our Ukraine united, Yuschenko answered in affirmative.
Commenting on a decision to suspend the activities of the political council of the Kyiv city organization of Our Ukraine, he said that the decision was taken due to inactivity of the branch, the fact that it was trying to split the political force.
He refused to comment on the activities of the former head of the political council of the Our Ukraine party, Serhiy Bondarchuk. "These are intrigues of mediocrities, I do not want to comment on them," he said.
