The organizing committee of the Our Ukraine party will prepare for the congress of the political force soon.
"I have set up the organizing committee, which at its meeting will determine the date and venue of the congress," the head of the party's political council, Serhiy Bondarchuk, said at a briefing on Saturday.
He said that 15 regional organizations of the party held their conferences and decided that such congress should take place.
At the same time, Bondarchuk did not name the possible date of the congress, adding only that there would be no delay in this matter.
As reported, 14 regional branches of the party held meetings of their councils from January 29 until February 5. They all urged the Our Ukraine's presidium to hold the party congress which should address the causes of the crisis in the party, hold personnel reshuffles in the party's leadership and restore the opposition course of the political force.
According to the party's Web site, the meetings of the councils of the party branches in Volyn, Donetsk, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhia, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Ternopil, Kherson and Chernihiv regions, as well cities of Kyiv and Sevastopol and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea were held.
