Activists hold rally to support Ukraine's European prospects, pass to EU Delegation letter for Fule

Activists are holding a rally in support of Ukraine's European prospects outside the Club of the Cabinet of Ministers in central Kyiv, where Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov and EU Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule are to meet on Thursday.

According to an Interfax-Ukraine reporter, around 10 activists of the We Are Europeans Movement gathered outside the building of the Cabinet of Ministers with posters reading "Government to Customs Union, Ukraine to EU" and "We are part of Europe! We don't need visa barriers!" The activists also brought an EU flag.

When representatives of a European delegation arrived at the Cabinet of Minister, the activists started chanting "Government to Customs Union, Ukraine to EU!"

The coordinator of the We Are Europeans Movement explained that the participants of the rally demand that Ukraine should stick to its European prospects despite the situation in the country.

Later on, the activists passed to the EU Delegation to Ukraine a letter for Fule. In the letter the activists asked him not to close European prospects for Ukraine and assist to the visa travel liberalization and the signing of the Association Agreement between the EU and Ukraine.
