Only a new political elite can change the country, one of the leaders of the Batkivschyna United Opposition Arseniy Yatseniuk has said.
"We're not likely to change the country with the current political elite," he told journalists in Kyiv on Friday.
He said young people should replace the current political elite.
"They should not just replace, they should change the system, the situation, and the vision, as well as establish the new values shared by free Europe," Yatseniuk said.
While commenting on issues related to national security, the opposition politician said that these issues in Ukraine are primarily connected with employment and providing people with the chance to give their families everything necessary, including education and access to proper medical services.
"Corruption is one of the biggest problems of Ukraine's national security," he added.
