The Central Election Commission of Ukraine has replaced the chairman of district election commission No. 223 in Kyiv.

Deputy Head of the Central Election Commission Andriy Mahera initiated the dismissal of the deputy chairman of this committee – a representative of the Bratstvo (Brotherhood) Party Yuriy Lytvyshko due to repeated violations of law by him, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.

The CEC decided to appoint Olha Haharyna, a representative of the Batkivschyna Party, the head of district election commission No. 223.

As a result, the vote count resumed at constituency No. 223. With 83.16% of the ballots counted, self-nominee Viktor Pylypyshyn with 27.96% holds the lead over Svoboda All-Ukrainian Union member Yuriy Levchenko, who took 27.46% of votes.
