Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko has called on Russia and other states to condemn crimes of the Communist regime, he said in an address to the Ukrainian nation during a ceremony on the opening of the memorial to victims of the Famine held on Saturday.
"We call on everyone, first, Russia... to condemn crimes of the Stalin regime and totalitarian Soviet Union," he said.
Yuschenko said that the tragedy of famine is a common tragedy.
"We were together in the hell," he said.
The president again said that Ukraine accuses no one in the famine tragedy.
