Latvian Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs stated in Kyiv that partners must help Ukraine destroy Russian launchers from which missiles are fired.
"We must help Ukraine target not the missiles themselves, but the launchers. Because that is where they are launched from, and this is more effective," he said at the Coalition of the Willing summit, responding to a question from an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent.
The prime minister also called for a complete halt to the supply of Western components used in missile production to Russia. In addition, he noted that Russia must begin to pay for its actions, and the EU must agree on the use of frozen Russian assets.
"We must agree on the use of frozen Russian assets – not the money of EU citizens, but specifically frozen Russian assets," Kulbergs said.
According to him, this amounts to approximately $200 billion in frozen Russian assets.
