Russia struck an energy facility in Odesa region on Monday, leaving part of Odesa district without power and causing disruptions to critical infrastructure, energy holding company DTEK has reported.
"On Independence Day, the enemy struck Odesa region. Due to significant damage, part of Odesa district, including the Peresyp district of Odesa, was left without power. There are disruptions in the operation of critical infrastructure," DTEK said in a statement on Telegram.
The company stressed that power engineers across Odesa region "are working non-stop" to restore electricity to all affected consumers as soon as possible.
