Russian occupying forces carried out several strikes on Sloviansk on Monday, Aug 24, at around 10:10 a.m. Four hits were recorded in the central part of the city, Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk regional state administration, has said.
"At least 7 people were injured in the airstrikes," Filashkin wrote on his Telegram channel.
He added that among the injured is a boy born in 2010.
The injured are receiving all necessary medical assistance.
"On Independence Day, the Russians once again show what exactly they bring to Ukraine: suffering for people and destruction for cities. They will answer for all their crimes," Filashkin said.
