Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the destruction of a Su-24M aircraft and military equipment at the Saki airfield in Crimea, as well as the elimination of a drone control relay station in the Bryansk region of Russia.
"Ukraine’s long-range sanctions continue to limit Russia’s military and economic potential and make the war more tangible for the aggressor country," Zelenskyy said in a Telegram post.
He recalled that over the past 24 hours, our units struck Novokuibyshevsk oil refinery, located 1,000 kilometers from the frontline – a blow worth millions of dollars to the aggressor’s military machine from a loss of exports. They also struck a logistics hub in Samara region.
"We also carried out operations in the Black Sea. There are confirmed results from previous strikes: a Su-24M aircraft and four pieces of airfield equipment were destroyed at the Saki airfield, and in Bryansk region, relay stations used to control drones, which the occupiers use to guide UAVs toward peaceful Ukrainian cities and villages, were neutralized," Zelenskyy said.
